Job Description: Minimum experience 8years.

We are seeking an Informatica ETL developer who can help us expand our DW infrastructure to meet growing data demands.

 

Responsibilities

·         Code, test, debug and implement Informatica mappings and workflows.

·         Interpret written business requirements and technical specifications to create and maintain mapping design document.

·         Actively contribute to design reviews.

·         Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications.

·         Create, document, and implement test plans and scripts.

·         Optimize performance of Informatica Mappings, processes and load routines.

·         Participate in design workshops, providing technical insight and knowledge.

·         DB analysis to determine health and usage, ETL Benchmarking and workflow workload testing.

·         sQL performance tuning, scripting Unix shells and integrating with Workflows.

·         Integrating ETL with NoSQL databases using Java and JavaScript frameworks.

 

Requirements/Skills

·         5+ years developing Informatica workflows in a high volume environment.

·         Deep understanding of Informatica transformations and workflow components.

·         Experience in loading data to targets like SCD, flatfiles, target overrides and invoking external loaders.

·         Must have used Informatica parameters across sessions and workflows.

·         Strong understanding of RDBMS principles and DB related best practices.

·         Hands-on experience in development of procs / packages / triggers and table design.

·         Postgres exposure will be a definitive plus.

·         Unix scripting knowledge.

·         Some hands-on development skills in Java and JavaScript.

·         Experience in incremental data extraction.

·         Understanding of integration with NoSQL is a plus.

·         Exposure to  data mining, statistics, analytical methods, predictions is helpful.

·         A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
