VMWare Cloud Consultant 

Contract term: 6 month and extendable

Location: San Francisco bay area (multiple sites)

 

Experience: 8-year experience in VMware and Cloud architecture and engineering.

Education: BS degree in related fields.

 

Candidate Consultant will be responsible for VMware Cloud Architect with a focus

on private and hybrid cloud adoption.  We are looking for an overall strong

VMware architect to help to make cloud adoption in PAAS and IAAS related issues

and projects.

 

Responsibilities: 
        (1)  Create governance framework for Cloud model .
        (2)  Implement automation of application installation on Windows Server

            and Linux Server VMs .
        (3)  Create multi-tenant VM framework .
        (4)  Build private cloud framework using vCloud Director and vCAC. 
        (5)  Secure private cloud framework with vShield or Cisco solutions

            from networking prospect .
        (6)  Create all documentation for private cloud model 
        (7)  Review any and all new technologies as it relates to cloud infrastructure 
        (8)  Lead and collaborate with other technology areas (Networking, Storage,

            App development, etc) in adoption of cloud infrastructure  

Requirements: 
         Enterprise Experience with Vmware vSphere 5.1 
         Enterprise Experience with Vmware vCloud Director 5.1 
         Enterprise Experience with Vmware SRM 
         Experience with Powershell for automating Vmware tasks
