Web Programmer (CMS)
Carlisle, PA

4-6 Months Contract

$35-40/hr all inc

 

Job Description: 5years experience  required.

Our client, in Carlisle Pa, is looking for a Web Programmer for a 4 – 6 month contract.  There is a possibility of this resource becoming a permanent hire at the end of the contract, but not guaranteed.  They are looking for a consultant that can assist with custom development for our clients new website, which is being built in the Jadu CMS.  They will need to provide backend support as need for the current website, which is built in the Ektron CMS.  This consultant has to have a strong background in programming in front end technologies.  The reason this position is open is due to a team member leaving the organization.  The client would like to have someone start as soon as possible so that the employee leaving the organization can cross train the new consultant.  Qualified candidate please apply!

 

Project Background:

·         Launching a new website with a new CMS (Jadu)

·         Retiring an old website with Ektron as their CMS

·         Looking for support on old website/CMS

·         Looking for support on new website/CMS

·         Candidate will be working closely with other enterprise divisions

·         New website is set to launch in January

·         Consultant may be needed to stay a month or two after for testing

 

Custom Development within Jadu:

·         Testing templates from Jadu

·         Styling and building different sites that are dynamically fed

·         PHP development for widgets

·         Updating CSS on pages that have iFrames

 

Ektron Support:

·         If there is a bug or the website goes down the consultant must be able to provide support.

·         .Net Framework utilizing ASP.Net

 

Candidates Must Have:

·         ASP.Net

·         PHP

·         Cold Fusion

·         Java Script

·         XHTML

·         XML

·         XSLT

·         CSS3

·         HTML 5

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Nice to have:

·         Ektron

·         Jadu

Other CMS experience
