تالاب میں اب کیوں کوئی کنکر نہیں گرتا

 اس بندۂ خوددار پہ نبیوں کا ہے سایا

جو بھوک میں بھی لقمۂ تر پر نہیں گرتا

کرنا ہے جو سر معرکۂ زیست تو سُن لے

بے بازوئے حیدر، درِ خیبر نہیں گرتا

قائم ہے قتیل اب یہ میرے سر کے ستوں پر

بھونچال بھی آئے تو مرا گھر نہیں گرتا
