میرے چاند کل کی روٹی تو پڑی ھے ناں

آج تو میں نے بھی انتظار میں کچھ نہیں پکایا

چٹنی کوٹ دیتی ھوں اور قہوہ بھی بنا دیتی ھوں.....میرا پیارا

مل کر کھا لیتے ھیں

اس نے بہہ نکلنے والے آنسوؤں کو دوپٹے سے پونچھا اور چولھے کی طرف چلدی

 وہ پیچھے سے آ کر ماں سے چمٹ گیا

مفلس کے بدن کو بھی ہے چادر کی ضرورت 

اب کھل کر مزاروں پہ یہ علان کیا جائے
