Details of Client/Project: Client (A Major Bank) has just started an upgrade of Imagine from ver 6x to ver 7x. They are using this platform for supporting their equity desk and to support middle-office and back-office process, with an internally built platform to support front-office. This is a large one year upgrade project.
Equity Trading (Imagine) Technical Developer
• Experience in Imagine from ver 6.x to 7.x
• Good understanding of Equity Desk and Front Middle & Back office processing.
• Experience in Imagine data-model is required
• Experience in porting SQL to API driven Framework
• SQL – performance tuning, stored procedures, triggers, temp tables, cursors, etc.
• Scripting – perl, korn, bash, etc.
• Java 1.4, 1.6
• Basic knowledge of derivative products (futures, options, swap, bonds, etc.)
Job Responsibilities
Candidates will be asked to update SQL, Stored Procedures, scripts and Java programs that may contain embedded SQL based on the new data model. They will also be expected to test their changes either manually or by developing scripts to do the validation. Documentation for each change will be required by way of difference reports.
