I fully agree with you Mahfooz Jafery sahib. Keeping intact your Iman and values one naturally gets a part of the society you live in. We have to follow a moderate way, if we are living in these countries.

Is this possible that our kids can listen to religious scholars as we do ?  They go to school here, they live here and they have local friends....and they will live here because they are born here for a long time. Besides Haloween, there are many other traditions and customs, I suggest we have to find a middle way.  It is not possible that we live here and just cut off from the society and close our eyes. We have to do our efforts that Iman and Islam, and the moral teachings of Islam ( many elders do not follow it ) make a root in the hearts and mindsof our children so then can follow it today and after us. It must transfer from one generation to another.  If we follow the religious scholars blindly by closing our eyes by cutting off from the local issues, it is better we go back.  We need dollar, better life then  strict Islamic discipline is not possible when all the parameters of the society is against it. We have to  find a middle-way by not distorting the basic Islamic core.

 

I invite our on-line scholars ( they r fighting on the issue of educated jahil ) to ponder over this issue and start a debate so that we can  find a solution of the problem.
