Here's the position description. It's for our front-end team:
Looking to fill a Front-End java developer position. This individual will be building web sites, pages, and components for retirement plan participant site. Strengths in front-end technologies including
Javascript,
CSS3
HTML5,
and JQuery are a must.
Other front-end frameworks are a plus, such as Twitter/Bootstrap, Foundation, Angular, Dust, etc. We are looking for a true Front-End developer, not just a java developer with some web experience.
2-4 years of Front-End experience required. Expectation is that they will be able to take direction from the project leads and then work independently to deliver project objectives. Experience in agile development methodologies is preferred.
They don't want resumes of Java developers who have done some JSF or HTML work – waste of time – those guys are not web developers, they are java developers. They don't want a coder who has done some javascript as part of his job, but wasn't their primary work.
