Take a look at this rarest of the rare photos below:  what rapport, clout, mettle and camaraderie did our leadership enjoy at one point with that of the U.S. !!  Here, Ayub Khan is patting the U. S. President Lyndon Baines Johnson, pathan style!!  Can anyone imagine doing the same today to Barack Obama (or even, for that matter, to Bob Blake, the Asst. Secy. of State, South/Central Asia )??   I doubt very much.....
