Role : SQL Server DBA
Location : Malvern PA
Duration : 9 month
- Candidate must have 2012 experience and specifically they must have experience setting up ALWAYS ON replica configuration. Need to have done this work themselves.
- Communication skill must be excellent
- Hiring off a Live Meeting interview but must work onsite
candidate who has experience working with SQL server 2012 . Also a candidate that has worked with setting Up Always ON replica configuration. It is a new feature with the newest version of SQL Server (that is 2012). Candidate will design & implement Synchronous replica And Asynchronous Replicain the SQL server clustered and windows clustered environment and subsequently test the configuration and document the deployment. Candidate must be able to work with various internal coding, performance and deployment teams in order to productize this feature.
10 + years’ experience on SQL Server (DBA / Architect)
Deep SQL server architecture internals knowledge
Experience of setting up SQL server 2012 Always ON configuration
Experience/Knowledge of SQL server and windows clustering databases
Experience/Knowledge of running Microsoft SQL in large scale production environments
Performance tuning
Knowledge of the recent and future versions of SQL Server (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014)
Writing OLTP & OLAP stored procedures
Experience with software source control
Desired skills:
o Good communication, interpersonal and project management skills required with the ability to drive and meet deadlines
o Ability to work with Product Management on requirements definition and design
