Responsibilities:

·         Develop functional manual test plans and test cases from requirement and product documentations.

·         Create automated test scripts from existing QA test cases.

·         Ability to raise and document risks related to functionality, performance, security, integration and  impacts to overall project.

·         Execute tests based on detailed instructions with responsibility for trying to break the application, anticipating errors that a user could create.

·         Ensure that system and data validations are in place to prevent errors from crashing the program

·         Process and coordinate testing information and enters data into standard QA documentation.

·         Participate on projects as part of the test team.

·         Interface with developers, project managers, product management / business analysts and account management.

 

Required Skills:

·         Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience

·         Minimum two years of work experience in software Quality Assurance testing and analysis

·         Must have demonstrated strong ability to grasp analyze and solve software testing projects, features and functionalities.

·         Must have significant experience in ground up software development.

·         Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, data testing for validation and integration.

·         Cross-environment testing on Windows, Apple, IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

·         Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2012 (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager.

·         Experience with Neotys NeoLoad a plus.

·         Good oral and written communications skills

·         Ability to write Software QA Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Strategy documentations

·         Ability to create constructive defects which are detailed and re-useable for developments, business analysts and project managers.

·         Ability to articulate and summarize findings to groups

·         Organized, detail-oriented and good interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work in fast-paced environment
