اردو کا پرانا نام ہندی نہیں تھا بلکہ اس کو لشکری زبان کہا جاتا تھا ادو مجموعہ ہے عربی، فارسی، ترکی، سنسکرت، انگریزی، لاطینی، فرانسیسی، پرتگالی، جنوبی ایشیائی اور یورپی زبانوں کا. باقی رہ گئی بات ہندی اور اردو میں فرق تو وہ یہ ہے کہ ہندی میں سنسکرت کے الفاظ زیادہ ہیں. جب ہم اردو میں فارسی اور عربی کی جگہ سنسکرت کے الفاظ استعمال کریں گے تو ہندی بن جائے گی.
