What is the must have or catch in this requirement:  We just need someone strong in SCCM.  A mid-level SCCM resource would work. 

 

 

 

Immediate six-month contract opening in Somerset, NJ for an SCCM Consultant.

Desired background:

Inventory Management, Software distribution, Patch Management using SCCM            
Image Management using SCCM            
Imaging engines and Windows 7 imaging technology            
Should be able to develop custom deployment scripts (VBS, batch etc.)

Package server, Task server, PXE server concepts            
Able to troubleshoot Windows server/client and Networking issues, including server side as well as client side issue            
Should be able to create custom scripts for gathering the inventory from clients            
Able to handle test and release of applications and Patches using SCCM            
SCCM Client management suite all Levels.            
Knowledge of all modules like PC transplant, help desk solution, Carbon Copy etc.            
Able generate custom reports using SQL queries.            
Able to resolve the tasks escalated by L1 and L2 teams.            
Also able to set various access controls on the Application portal in SCCM            
Manage the SCCM database and performance tuning and should have some knowledge of database clustering in regard for SCCM.            
                    
Technical Requirements            
            
Required Skills / Qualifications:             
            
Graduate in Any Discipline            
Windows 2003/2008, Active Directory  

Good working knowledge of SQL Server and associated components        
Basic knowledge of MSI technology     

Good working knowledge of SQL Server and associated components        
Expertise in Installation, Design and Managing SCCM Notification Server Infrastructure            
Expertise in Installation, Design and Managing SCCM Deployment Server Infrastructure            
Expertise in performing upgrade and restore of SCCM Infrastructure and Database            
Should have sound knowledge on Active Directory, Networking protocols and Subnetting            
            
            
Soft Skills            
            
-       Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)            
-       Good documentation skills            
-       Good working knowledge of MS Office (including MS Project and Visio)            
-       Should have a great customer handling skills            
-       Able to handle unforeseen situations            
-       High level of acceptance            
 
                
Years of Experience            
            
Should have 4+ years of working experience in SCCM Environment            
Total experience More than  7 years            
            
Certification requirements            
            
Compulsory SCCM certifications            
Compulsory MCP/MCSA/MCTS/MCSE
