UAT System Tester Requirements:

 

·         Experience in creating and/or writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test scripts

·         Familiar with System Development Life Cycle

·         Preferably a working knowledge of CARES (Client Automated Resources Eligibility System )

·         Preferably working knowledge of IBM Mainframe, DB2, Interfaces, Batch Jobs

·         Skilled analyst – experience in de-bugging applications and problem identification

·         Ability to research policy and procedures

·         Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

·         Prior experience participating in requirements definition

·         Ability to estimate work effort

·         Understanding of data processing functions including batch cycles, JCL, job control systems and online transaction processing

·         Strong Experience in User Acceptance Testing

·         Experience in CMMI process areas like verification and validation

·         Experience with client server and Web based applications

·         Experience working with IBM tools like RQM, RTC and Requisite Pro

·         Ability to work under pressures and achieve good results 

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred

·         Five or more years of software testing experience of on-line and batch systems

·         Experience working with large-scale computer systems or web-based application

·         Five or more years experience with manual and/or automated systems and integration testing

·         Experience in creating and executing Test Plans and Cases

·         Experience in documenting Test results

·         Strong analysis capabilities
