Job Purpose

 

The Project Manager is responsible for building client relationships by establishing project strategy and

 

deliverables; developing and delivering solutions; managing project resources and delivery team.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

· Manage new and existing client relationships

 

· Coordinate development and delivery of enterprise grade software solutions

 

· Lead the software life-cycle methodology

 

· Schedule, assign and monitor tasks, deadlines and milestones for all stakeholders and resources,

 

following established project management methodologies. (SCRUM)

 

· Identify and proactively manage the project schedule, resource and technology uncertainties and

 

risks.

 

· Efficiently and competently manage scope-creep, changed requirements and missed deadlines

 

through change management, risk management and control processes established.

 

· The Project Manager should be capable of defining acceptance criteria or working with specialists

 

to define acceptance criteria for project deliverables and work towards achieving stakeholder

 

acceptance of deliverables.

 

· Create functional and technical specification documents

 

· Coordinate interactions between internal and external technical resources

 

· Assist Development with system and user experience design

 

· Assist QA creating test plans, testing efforts, and root cause analysis

 

· Actively maintain project documentation plans, requirement definition, task allocation, risks

 

mitigation strategies, test plans and system design documents.

 

· The Project Manager should identify, log, analyze and manage potential and actual issues and

 

risks, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and reviewing how more

 

serious issues and risks might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

 

· 5+ years proven experience managing or overseeing technology projects with cross-functional,

 

matrixed staff (including vendors) with high integration across multiple lines of business and

 

technical discipline.

 

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic

 

project environment and manage multiple projects.

 

· Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with clients, stakeholders and senior

 

leadership.

 

· Ability to organize and work effectively with project teams of staff from department and clients

 

participating in this effort

 

· BBA or equivalent

 

· Experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies, writing user stories, performing

 

development task breakdowns

 

· Experience with data analysis and / or SQL

 

· Experience with Java (J2EE) project implementations

 

· Experience with mobile software project implementations

 

· Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
