POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a strong Business Intelligence candidate to develop and support applied Business rules and ETL for our CRM and OBIEE system. Candidates should possess advanced development skills in the area of OBIEE, Siebel, and Informatica and SQL Server Database. The individual should also be well versed in the area Star Schemas and dimensional modeling, understanding and implementing business requirements, and design and develop technical solutions. Working closely with the Business Process owners, both written and verbal communication skills are essential. The Business Intelligence candidate must have a sound understanding of BI best practices, relational structures, and data warehouse and reporting techniques as well as structured query language (SQL) skills. As the BI platform needs to communicate with other internal Business Systems, the candidate will be required to participate as part of an extended Development team and comfortable in Agile and waterfall methodologies. The candidate will also need to be able to ensure the solutions perform optimally, participate in the release process including testing, validation and implementation.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems and 5+ years of experience in Software Development; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with ETL development with Informatica and Business Intelligence systems; Siebel Analytics; OBIEE, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SMTP, DTS, SSIS, Oracle Databases, SQL Server Databases; MSMQ and API, business processes and information systems and concepts, PC and desktop applications, applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedure, and using formal development processes and/or methodologies required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in Oracle BI development, WebCat, Rpd, and ETL. Strong understanding of the principles of a CRM system and BI systems.
