Role : Configuring/Troubleshooting Network engineer(10yr)

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration of contract: 12 months

Interview: Phone/ Skype

 Skillet – Mandatory :-

1. Excellent network troubleshooting skills. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time.

2. Excellent leadership skills

3. Able to perform proof-of-concept and review the test results & provide analysis

4. Able to build design and configuration standards

5. Develop bill of materials

6. CCNP Certification Required

7. Configuring/Troubleshooting LAN Switching and Cisco Wireless

8. Configuring/Troubleshooting of Wireless Controller

9. Configuring/Troubleshooting WAN – MPLS, MPLS/VPN

10. Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst 6500 and other Catalyst Series switches

11. Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/2K Series of switches

12. Troubleshoot routing loop, Asymmetric Routing and STP loop issues

13. Configuring/Troubleshooting Routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP

14. Configuring/Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers 3800, 3900, 7600, ASR Series

15. QoS (Quality of service) configuration/troubleshooting

16. Configuring/Troubleshooting Network Security – IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS

17. Configuring/Troubleshooting of WAN Acceleration/optimization – Cisco

18. Configuring/Troubleshooting of Application Load Balancers – F5

19. Configuring/Troubleshooting of WAN Load Balancers – Talari

20. Analyzing the output of all the tools and making recommendation

21. Ensure to meet security compliance standard and perform review

22. Implementation of critical Operational Changes and coordination with project team for project related changes

23. Perform project related activities and IMAC (Install, Move, Add & Change)

24. Able to create policy and procedure manual

25. Excellent presentation skills

26. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly interact with customer, understand the requirements and communicate with the offshore team. Must be able to participate and represent the team in Change and Incident Management meetings.

27. Able to communicate with customer and be able to present solutions to customers

28. Open for 24x7 availability

29. Vendor Management

30. Responsible for identification and mitigation of risks and vulnerabilities31. Prepare disaster recovery (DR) plan and demonstrate successful functioning of DR32. Conduct technical training to internal resources

33. Must be able to

• Lead the participate in outage calls

• Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required

• Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly/ customer / internal meetings and provide activities report.

• Follow Compliance and Regulation policy of TCS and Customer

• Understand the SLA and ensure the SLAs are met as per the TCS agreement with customer

• Keep the Inventory up to date for global locations

• Work with offshore team and ensure deliverables are delivered on time
