Role : Teradata Developer with Java Background (10yr)

Location : Woonsocket, RI

Duration of contract: 12 months

Interview: Phone/ Skype  

Client : TCS(WWW.TCS.COM) 

 

Total Experience Required         Java/Unix/Oracle Teradata Developer

 

Mandatory Technical Skills:-

4+ years of experience with Teradata Batch & databases with load/Unload Utilities BTEQ, Teradata SQL Assistant, Tpump, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport knowledge,  TPT, Database development, stored procedure development, Oracle Database Development and Unix shell script development. 

Experience in Java and Unix shell scripting

 

Roles and responsibility              

- Interaction with business representative.

- Developer role with strong Teradata batch & databases experience.

- Delivering an ETL solution that conforms to the requirements specified in the specifications document

 

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills  

1. Experience with Teradata load utilities like BTEQ, Teradata SQL Assistant, Tpump, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPT

2. Testable strong SQL with complex queries

3. Proficient testing skills on unit, system, and integration

4. Experience tuning ETL for performance and efficiency

5. Very good verbal and written communication skills

6. Database Development

7. Stored procedure Development

8. Unix Shell Scripting Experience

9. Java Exposure
