6:30 a.m. – had a good sleep, a beautiful morning, enjoyed few minutes with my 9-month-old son, light breakfast, left to work 10 minutes earlier so traffic surprises can't spoil a beautiful start for another day in China…

7:03 a.m.– Driving out of the residential compound, an unexpectedly long parade of queuing cars everywhere, almost stalled, traffic signal is 1km away …maintaining a positive mood, unlike most drivers ahead, I allowed parked cars and those exiting the parking to enter into the cue line in front of me…

7:15 a.m. – Turned on the car MP3 with a 32GB flash disk stuffed with educational content and my best music selection, and, of course, Chinese lessons,

8:08 a.m. – Trip average speed on the car screen was 1km/h, angry drivers .....
