As per the news posted by Abida saheba, the action has already been taken by Saudi Govt. What is the fuss?

Here the Arabs have taken the action. Do you think they are over reacting like Ajamis/Desi Muslims?

But believe me we, non-Arabs Ajamis/Desi Muslims always over acts in religious matters and rituals to show over-love for Islam instead of practicing restraint and moderation. Allah does not like such excesses (4:171/5:77). We perform too many Hajj instead of one and also Hajj Badal for others and dead ones not sanctioned in the Quran as it is Farz only on the living one subject to affordability once in a life time. We perform too much Qurbani after Eid Namaz not prayed by Hajis as Qurbani is linked to Hajj performance. Policeman to be investigated for putting leg on Holy Kaaba's black stone.

MAKKAH — Emir of Makkah Prince Mishal Bin Abdullah asked for taking the 

necessary disciplinary measures against a police man who put his leg on the Black Stone

 of the Kaaba while guarding it. The behaviour of the policeman was widely circulated

 on social media websites with many tweeters considering his demeanor 

disrespectful to the sanctity of the place.

 

The photo showed the policeman leaning his foot on the stone. He was also 

leaning his back against the Kaaba's wall.

According to local press reports on Wednesday, the Emir instructed the director

 of the province's police Maj. Gen. Abdulaziz Al-Soli, to expedite investigations with

 the policeman and to take the necessary actions against his uncouth behaviour.

Prince Mishal did not find the behavior of the policeman acceptable by all means, 

especially that guarding holy places should be done with complete respect to their sanctity.

He said he was pained by the picture and asked the police director to organize awareness 

workshops to enlighten all those working in the Grand Mosque, both military and

 civilians, about the sanctity of the place.

"The military and civil staff of the Grand Mosque should be taught the etiquette of dealing 

properly with pilgrims and visitors to ensure that the best of services

 are being provided to them," he said.

The Emir described the behaviour of the police guard as unjustified and 

said it was against the good mannerism of Islam.

Meanwhile security sources told Makkah daily that the police guards work in five shifts 

or more to guard the Black Stone. They said there were a total of

 8,640 police guarding shifts a year.

The sources said the duties of police guards include protecting the holy stone from

 any harm that might be done by reckless or ignorant pilgrims, organizing the crowds of

 pilgrims who insist on kissing the stone while circumambulating around the Kaaba, 

guide them towards the best ways of touching or kissing the stone and observing the process 

of circumambulation from a high place near the stone and Kaaba door.
