Dear Mr. Mohammed Shafi Aga, Assalamu Alaikum,

I really thank you very much for the truth you mentioned in your email that your collection of information about Qura'an is through reading few translations that too in English which stretched a long 10 years period.  It shows that you have not studied Qura'an in any renowned institution and under the guidance of an A'alim.  I use to sit in the company of renowned ulema of Hyderabad and Saudi Arabia.  Their collective decision is no one can get thorough knowledge on any subject without the help of concerned Ulema'a.  No matter how many years he/she spends in self studies.

I am working in a university and part of my job is reviewing pagination and listings of master thesis and PhD dissertations.  No student is allowed to submit his thesis without studying and experimenting under the supervision of a panel of advisers, chaired by one senior adviser.  No matter what faculty of knowledge he is studying, say Engg., Sciences, Humanities, Islamic Studies, business etc.  Now, when we compare Qura'anic Studies with the faculties I mentioned here we find that Qura'an gives LIFE to everything in the universe and precisely on earth.  It answers all queries of human being without limitations of time frame that stretches from the day it revealed to the end of this world.  How it is possible that minor subjects are studied under supervision of a PANEL OF ADVISERS and very important revelation, the Qura'an, you studied without any guidance.  It shows that you don't give proper importance to your studies and to Qura'an itself.

Brother, my humble request is firstly discard your translation for ever.  If you can't do that then show your translation to any renowned A'alim-e-deen or submit it to any institution like Nadwatul Ulema'a.  You also mentioned that you don't know Arabic as you studied only English translations.  Brother you are playing with FIRE and also by Imaan of innocent youngsters who mostly rely upon internet and discussion portals due to easy access instead of referring to any A'alim-e-deen.

Last but not least, AGAIN I am requesting you and all brother to adhere to the guidance of Allah mentioned in Aayah of Qura'an I quoted earlier for gaining knowledge or information: "isaloo ahl az Zikri in kuntum laa ta'almoon".

Allah SWT forgive our sins and shower His mercy upon us and guide us towards right path. Aaaameeen.

And I offer my studies to anyone who would like to go through them as only a help towards his/her own studies of the Qur'aan. If anyone thereby gets motivated to initiate his/her own studies of the Book, I shall feel richly rewarded. I ask for no other reward from my fellow humans.
